Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking an entry level Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our industrial machinery and equipment, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
Role:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, pumps, motors, and production lines.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and execute a preventive maintenance program to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and spare parts inventory.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, identify potential safety hazards, and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members, engineers, and production staff to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment performance.
- Participate in equipment upgrades, retrofits, and installations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, conduct emergency repairs, and provide support during production emergencies.
- Apply 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout.
- Ensure proper labeling and signage for different product categories and storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve workspace organization.
- Assisting with the unloading of machine components, dismantling machinery, and preparing it for shipment.
Who are we looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Some experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, precision measurement instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment when necessary.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
